Overview

The Applied Music programme is offered by Oklahoma State University.

In addition to advanced studies on your instrument, you will develop a refined knowledge of literature composed for that instrument and will also learn teaching and technical approaches for that musical medium. Performing opportunities, both solo and collaborative, are an important component of your degree studies.

Research and Faculty

Applied Music faculty and staff at Oklahoma State University will work closely with you to provide mentoring that helps to develop your performance portfolios and enrich your critical thinking about music.
