Overview

GRE admission requirements GRE® The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. It contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.

Step 1: To Rackham

  • Electronic application. Includes:(1) two written statements;(2) CV;(3) copies of transcripts from degree-granting institutions; and(4) recommendation letters.
  • Official transcripts from degree-granting colleges/universities attended.
  • Official GRE Scores.ETS code 1839
  • TOEFL. Test of English as a Foreign Language (if applicable). We also accept IELTS scores in place of the TOEFL

Step 2: To the School of Kinesiology

  • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation from academic sources. These can be submitted as part of the electronic application process mentioned above, or hard copies can be sent to Kinesiology
