General requirements

Statement of Purpose: This is your opportunity to tell our graduate admissions committee who you are holistically, what your academic and professional interests are, and how you will add value to the graduate program and the respective discipline.
Resume or CV: All applicants must submit a resume or CV as one of the checklist items in the SLATE application.
Letters of Recommendation: The mathematics department requires two letters of recommendation. However, the graduate school requires that you provide the contact information for a minimum of three (3) recommenders. The first two submitted will meet the mathematics department requirement.
Transcripts: Official transcripts are not required for the review of your application. You may be admitted and registered in your first semester of courses with an unofficial transcript.
