Overview
The Law - Business Administration programme from Illinois Institute of Technology allows students to obtain an LL.M. degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law and an M.B.A. degree from Stuart School of Business in two or two and a half years; it generally takes three years to earn the two degrees independently.
Key Facts
LL.M. Programme Options
Students will select one of four available LL.M. tracks:
- LL.M. in U.S., International and Transnational Law, completed fully at Chicago-Kent
- LL.M. in U.S., International and Transnational Law, with an overseas training program
- LL.M. in Legal Innovation and Technology, with a focus on emerging technology
- LL.M. in Global Business and Financial Law, with a transactional focus
Stuart’s M.B.A. programme bridges business and technology with a focus on innovation. Both tracks cover key conceptual areas in management such as finance, strategy, operations, marketing, and leadership. The more traditional track includes elective courses to customize your degree. The M.B.A. Business Analytics track is STEM-designated and includes a strong emphasis on developing analytical and quantitative skills.
Programme Structure
- Students in the LL.M./M.B.A. dual-degree programme may apply up to six credits of LL.M. coursework that is taken at Chicago-Kent toward the requirements for the M.B.A. degree to complete both degrees in two or two and a half years.
