Mathematics for Educators is offered by Worcester Polytechnic Institute. The program is designed for current middle school, high school, and community college mathematics educators seeking to enhance the content and implementation of their mathematics courses to engage students and give them a more effective learning experience.

Most courses are available online. We seek to make the transition to graduate work as easy as possible for you. Application to the program is simple; it includes an application form, transcript(s), and three letters of reference. You do not need to submit GRE scores. You may apply anytime during the year and start during any semester.

All required credentials should be provided electronically through the application. Paper documents mailed to our office will be discarded.
Applicants who are admitted and enroll at WPI will be required to submit final and official transcripts from any university that issued a degree or where classes were taken that counted towards the degree. We will accept mailed final and official transcripts.
Applicants seeking to attend WPI whose native language it not English must submit official TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo scores.
Several WPI programs require or strongly recommend the GRE. Please review the application requirements page to identify if the test is required. There are no minimum GRE scores, but the average for admitted students is typically 150 verbal, 165 quantitative, and 3.0 analytical.
