Since 1970, University of Notre Dame has offered the Four-year Law - Business Administration Dual Degree. It is a program defined by difference:
- Different than the traditional JD/MBA track, which usually takes five years to complete
- Different from other dual-degree programs in that it is steeped in decades-long tradition
- Different in the type of lawyer it produces

General requirements
- All Dual Degree applicants are required to take and submit the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test). There are limited spaces in these programs, so we encourage you to take the GMAT and submit your application as early as you can.
- Academic transcripts from all previous undergraduate or graduate education (unofficial copies are fine for applying, but you will need the official copies prior to starting the program). *Note: If you have already completed an MBA degree, you are not eligible to apply.
- Two recommendations
- One slide presentation (up to four slides)
- Official TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic score report (international students only)
- Statement of Purpose (100 words or less)
- Two Essays (500 words or less each)
