Programme Structure

Curriculum:

The MBA core includes nine courses designed to build leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills across key areas of business. Each course connects theory with real-world application, preparing you to lead in any organizational setting.
Additional 3 classes build concentrations in the chosen disciplines.

Audience

The programme can help audience looking to launch a new career or have extensive industry experience and looking to enhance the current career. Most of our students have about 3-5 years of experience but we also have large number of students who join the programme right after undergraduate education.

Lecturers

Classes are taught by full-time academically qualified faculty. These faculty wither have terminal degree in discipline or have extensive industry experience along with the required qualifications.

General requirements

A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.

A minimum GPA of 2.7 is required in the undergraduate program. A statement of purpose is also required. Work experience is a plus but not required.

To be considered for admission to the MBA program, an applicant must first be admitted to Graduate Studies. The application for main-campus MBA should be submitted online at least six weeks prior to the beginning of the first semester of anticipated enrolment in classes.

Statement of Purpose is a brief, one-page statement describing your purpose and general plan for MBA study at Central Michigan University. The statement should include information about your future career plans and past or current activities and achievements, including any relevant business or volunteer experience that make you a good candidate for admission. The goal is to share relevant information that is not captured in the other documents you have been asked to submit.
