This Master of Education in Teacher Leadership degree at the American College of Education  helps you develop skills so that you can assist other teachers in reaching their full potential, realize and maintain your school’s vision, or advocate for education policies to better support student learning. In short, you’ll learn to become a change agent.

Overview

 Master of Education in Teacher Leadership degree at the American College of Education teaches practical and immediately applicable skills. What you learn at ACE today can be immediately applied in your learning environment tomorrow.

Key Features

  • You’ll take a total of eleven courses. Ten of these courses (most students take one at a time) center around developing and supporting teachers. In your coursework, you’ll study coaching and leadership models, evaluation techniques, instructional design methods, and the influence of culture. Each course is five weeks long.
  • At the end of the program, you’ll complete a capstone course to demonstrate and document the impact of the knowledge you’ve gained throughout the program.

  • Submit the nonrefundable application fee
  • Provide official transcripts from a regionally accredited institution indicating successful completion of the level of education required for entry to the program
  • Bachelor's or Highest Post-Baccalaureate degree earned from a Regionally Accredited Institution    
  • Minimum grade point average cumulative 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for full admission
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average 2.0 on a 4.0 scale for provisional admission
  • International applicants must request the course-by-course evaluation. The evaluation report must show that the non-U.S. education is equivalent to the education/accreditation level required for the program
