Learning outcomes
Developed in part by sports TV executives, our curriculum prepares you for a successful career in multimedia sports production and broadcasting. We’ll give you the journalistic foundation to cover not only what’s happening on the field, but to dig deeper to uncover the financial, health and ethical issues facing the world of sports today. In our Ed McMahon Mass Communications Center, you’ll build websites, write scripts and shoot, edit and produce video using the latest equipment in our high-definition studio and the HD and Ultra HD (4K) editing suites.
You’ll learn from current and former professionals and join an alumni network that spans the nation. Quinnipiac was rated a Top 10 school for media professionals by LinkedIn, in large part due to the success of our alumni in the industry, many of whom are employed at ESPN, NBC Sports, Northeast Sports Network, Sports New York and professional teams and leagues throughout the country.
