Overview
Asynchronous classes offer flexibility while synchronous meetings allow for discussions, critiques, and community-building with instructors, peers, and visiting designers. Courses cover design principles, typography, research, ideation, web design, programming, workflow management, and more. Small class sizes encourage collaboration and personal attention from experienced faculty. Students can start in fall or spring, and take one or two classes per semester.
As a master's student in Graphic and Web Design, you will:
- Build a portfolio in preparation for careers in the field of graphic and web design as a well-rounded contributor in print, digital, and web environments.
- Experience theoretical and practical work in the topics of design history and theory; typography and visual communication; research and ideation processes; web-specific design and development.
- Research issues that engage your passion, develop your creative voice, and establish new connections in the design world.
