As an academic discipline, sport management is dynamic and focuses on sport-specific concepts within the framework of business and management. Ethical, social and legal theories are also used to examine issues that are unique to the sport industry.   • Students will learn how to administer programs, manage people and organizations, and plan and execute special and ongoing projects.  The 30-hour curriculum includes courses in Sport Administration and Governance, Risk and Contracts, Sport Management, Sport in the Global Marketplace and more.
  • An M.S. in Sport Management prepares graduates for job opportunities in business management and leadership, athlete representation, event production, project management, market research, and more. Graduates will go on to jobs in intercollegiate athletic administration, professional sport administration, sport facility management, sport communications, sport event planning, sport agencies and more.
