Overview
Social Work from University of Wisconsin Green Bay prepares students for advanced level professional practice applicable to a wide range of positions in the human services, with a special emphasis on multi-cultural practice, social justice, leadership, and advocacy.

General requirements
- Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution
- 3.0 grade point average. Applicants with a GPA of less than 3.0 may be considered for provisional admission.
- UW System application form
- $56.00 application fee
- Academic background in the liberal arts with completion of a minimum of 12 credits in the social sciences (psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics or political science)
- Four prerequisite courses are required and include one course from each of the following areas: biological life sciences, lifespan development, statistics and research methods.

- Two letters of evaluation
- A test of English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS)
- Course-by-course transcript evaluation from a professional evaluation service currently recognized by NACES
