Overview
The master’s Reading and Language Arts program offers three strands.
Learning outcomes
Strand I: Classroom Instruction in Reading and Language Arts (30 credits) at Central Connecticut State University is designed to prepare teachers for teaching reading and language arts to diverse groups of students in a classroom context. Strand II: Reading- Mathematics (30 credits) is designed to prepare teachers to teach both literacy and numeracy to diverse groups of students in a classroom context.

- Official transcripts and records of undergraduate and graduate studies from all institutions attended.
- Original translations of academic records.
- An original foreign credentials course-by-course evaluation report from a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).
- Unless waived by the University, proof of competency in English
