Graduates are prepared for a variety of professional roles within the education and arts sectors. The primary career path is teaching dance in elementary, middle, and high school settings, where graduates apply their New York State certification to lead diverse classrooms and develop school curricula.
In addition to traditional school environments, the skills gained during the programme are highly applicable to roles in community arts organisations and private dance studios. Graduates often find success as dance programme coordinators, educational consultants, or artistic directors within youth-focused performing arts companies.
The combination of pedagogical expertise and choreographic experience also allows alumni to pursue careers in arts administration or as freelance educators.
