Overview
Students who have completed a BA in Communication Disorders prior to admission into the MA program are required to complete 39 credit hours of graduate course work. Thesis and nonthesis tracks are available to students as part of the 39 credits.
Students with a BA or BS in another field are required to complete 39 credit hours of graduate course work as well as a number of undergraduate pre-requisits that are required for national certification and state licensure.

- A conferred baccalaureate (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited college or university by the expected date of entry into the graduate program. The School requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale in the previous undergraduate degree and if applicable, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale in any previous graduate coursework.
- Transcripts are required for each college or university attended. This includes dual enrollment credits, post-secondary colleges, and schools where a degree was not earned.
- In addition to transcripts, international applicants are required to submit degree certificates/diplomas. Documents written in a language other than English must be accompanied by a certified translation.
