Overview
About this Degree
Printmaking students at University of Kansas may focus in one or more medium or choose to create a hybrid print form. The program encourages mixed-media work and equally embraces traditional approaches to the print medium.
Freedom of choice has been a hallmark within the art department, and no one aesthetic is stressed over others.
Students are exposed to a range of techniques and concepts. The print area considers safety to be the top priority, and employs safe handling of materials and encourages the use of the least toxic approaches to all print media.
