The American Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO) has made a generous gift for the purpose of creating the American Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO) Scholarship in Engineering at The University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Eligibility
Recipients of the American Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO) Scholarship in Engineering will be selected from applicants meeting the following eligibility requirements:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in or admitted to a degree-granting program in Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering; Electrical and Computer Engineering; Materials Engineering; or Mechanical Engineering at UAB
- Applicants should demonstrate solid academic promise and achievement and have earned at least an overall 2.75 grade point average in coursework completed prior to the time of application
