The Technical University of Košice was founded in 1952, but its roots must be sought much deeper in the past. An important event was the renaming of the school to the Technical University of Košice on the basis of the Act of the Slovak National Council of 13 February 1991.
The Technical University of Košice has 9 faculties. Each faculty offers accredited study programmes at bachelor´s, master´s and doctoral level of higher education. The study can be carried out in full-time or part-time form; by attendance, distance or combined method in Slovak or English language. Students of Faculty of Economics can take part in a francophone study programme with French as a language of instruction.
The tasks and the services that the centre provides include cooperation with industries in the field of applied research, innovations and technology transfer (ITT) from academy to industries, support for research, scientific and innovation projects, support for intellectual property protection (IPP) of results of the scientific activities conducted at TUKE, support for human resources development and methodology of services for the abovementioned fields, promoting achievements in ITT using a portal information system.

The Technical University of Košice (Technická univerzita v Košiciach, TUKE) is a leading educational institution in Slovakia that provides high quality education in technical and engineering sciences. Established in 1952, the university has a strong teaching staff of experienced professors and researchers. TUKE offers a wide range of bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes, training specialists for various industries. Thanks to modern laboratories, innovative research and international connections, the Technical University of Košice is an excellent choice for students seeking a quality technical education.
The university is involved in several fields of Computer science, such as: Databases, C Programming, Game Development, IoT, Virtual Reality & Graphics, AI, Domain-specific languages and so on. As for me, the most valuable skills are the ones involved with Web Technologies and Front-end applications, such as Javascript, SQL, Mobile app development, UX/UI Design.
Important field of study, but needs more experts as professors. You have everything you need close by to the university - caffe bars, bakery, hospital, cantine. You have more departments - for teachers from 1st to 4th grade, early and preschool educators and rehabilitators. I'm happy with my choice to enrol here.

The Department of Support and Services for Students (OPaSŠ) is a workplace with university-wide competence, under the authority of the Vice-Rector for Education, which performs advisory, consulting, organizational, coordinating, training, educational and awareness-raising activities, primarily within the applicant-student-graduate processes.
TUKE has the largest accommodation capacities for students in eastern Slovakia.
The mission of the library is to provide information for scientific research and the pedagogical process at TUKE. We provide services to teachers, researchers, other TUKE employees, TUKE students.
It allows users from TUKE to order and reserve library services via electronic forms, use the electronic system for collecting and making available TUKE publications, and access subscribed databases etc.
Institute of Computer Science (ICS) is a workplace with a university-wide scope, whose main mission is to ensure implementation of tasks related to the development and use of information and communication technology at the Technical University in Košice (TUKE) in collaboration with the faculty computer nodes. It is a regional hub Slovak Academic Data Network san.
TUKE offers students the opportunity to play sports in more than 25 sports. TUKE has an interesting sports infrastructure: Football/athletic stadium, 8 gyms, 6 gyms, 2 fields, baseball field, tennis courts, squash.
