Learning outcomes
Graduate of the bachelor's study programme Electrical Power Engineering:
- He understands the basic rules in the field of high voltage technology, and control of electrical systems, he understands the design of electrical networks and stations and protection systems serving to ensure the safe and reliable operation of equipment for the production, distribution, and transmission of electrical energy. He can solve these processes, from the design, through projecting and operation, with the help of deploying modern methods with regard to the optimization of the operation of the equipment with the use of computer technology. Knows and understands theories, methods, and procedures that are used mainly in the field of electric power engineering, with subsequent possible applications in science and research.
- He has skills in the field of designing electrical equipment, and he has acquired the necessary habits that will allow him to quickly adapt to the needs of the labor market, which will enable him to apply in a wide range of professions related to the field. Can creatively solve problems, tasks, and assignments in new or unfamiliar environments, in broader contexts that go beyond the field of study. He knows how to actively acquire new knowledge and information and knows how to use them creatively in the development of the field, while he can creatively solve practical tasks using theory and research and development procedures. He is able to communicate professional opinions with experts and at the same time, he is able to clearly present conclusions and justifications to experts as well as to lay addressees.
- He is able to integrate knowledge, coordinate procedures in teams, and make independent and responsible decisions in a changing environment, while he is ready to take responsibility for his actions and decisions. He can formulate information about the procedure and results of solving tasks, he can analyze a problem, and synthesize a new solution. He got enough opportunities to creatively apply the acquired knowledge and abilities independently in the context of work and non-work practice, and at the same time, to be motivated but also able to develop them during further education, respectively. self-study.
