Overview

On the one hand, the graduate of the Informatization of Processes of Raw Materials Extraction and Processing programme from The Technical University of Kosice (TUKE) has knowledge and knows how to creatively and professionally use information and communication means and technologies, and on the other hand, he is able to create, interpret and use virtual objects (models) that ensure the connection between the computer system and the real world. The content in question is pre-production, production and post-production activities, including the processes of direct and indirect acquisition of information, its preservation, processing, provision and use.

Learning outcomes

• The graduate will find employment as a creative engineer in research, technical development, design and management of complex informatics applications in the field of managing processes associated with research, development and production of products and services with an orientation to the field of acquisition and processing of raw materials and use of earth's resources. 

• The acquired knowledge and skills will enable him to successfully apply them in other areas of computer science applications. Profiling subjects are aimed at computer support of technical and management activities using information technology. 

• The application profile consists of knowledge of technological and production processes of obtaining and processing raw materials, resulting in the ability to mathematically model them and use models in their management.
