We take pride in being the first modern university of Romania, inheriting values, reputation and educational knowledge. Established in October 1860, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi is the oldest university in our country. Its history follows the patterns of the Romanian nation.

All students registered at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University can have access to the University libraries and to other libraries in Iasi.

ICT services

Almost all faculties have computer rooms, where students can have free-of-charge access to Internet. It is possible to use these computers only based on the student card, which proves that the student is registered at the respective faculty.

The program was good, I liked all the objects we studied, but the worst thing was we had to study online due to coronavirus, although our university wasn’t ready for such model

Most professors have a great amount of experience, however, they tend to be overly critical of students and don't always create an English-friendly environment.
