Student services

Welcome to the Division of Student Services at the University of Central Arkansas where we put students front and center. Within the Division, it is our goal to assist students in every aspect of their college life. We offer many programs and services which are designed to facilitate the assimilation into the University family. We are dedicated to advancing the university’s mission through our primary Core Services: The Division Pillars. These Pillars, along with the Division Vision, Mission, and Core Values, provide the direction for the exceptional work done by our fifteen departments and eleven functional areas.

Housing services

Our campus residences are more than buildings, they are living and learning centers and your home away from home. We have Residential Colleges, Freshmen Experience halls, Upperclass only residence halls, Greek Village, and many apartment options to fit your different housing needs.

Sports facilities

COPA is located at the back of the HPER Center, next to the racquetball courts.  The UCA community can rent out camping gear, bikes and register for upcoming courses that will make you better prepared for your next outdoor adventure! Experience COPA and get to know the great outdoors!

It means being in good physical condition. We often think of athletes as being very fit. They tend to focus on performance-related fitness for sport. However, you don’t have to be an athlete to be fit. Doing more physical activity improves your fitness and health, no matter what shape or size you are. Making small changes in your daily lifestyle helps improve your fitness.

The University is home to more than 200 registered student organizations, with more forming every year.

Notable other RSO's include The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (N.A.A.C.P), Young Democrats, College Libertarians, College Republicans, Sigma Alpha Lambda Honors Society, Student Council for Exceptional Children, PRISM, Business and Information Technology (BIT), Computer Science Club, Model UN, Campus Dialogue, Pre-Med Society, Pre-Pharmacy Club, The Society of Physics Students (SPS at UCA), RUSH Collegiate Ministries, and a myriad of other religious organizations.

Undergraduate Experience in Arkansas
Anonymous rated 5 out of 5 stars

My overall study experience was wonderful, the professors were professional yet also very approachable. I learned so much and I had some fantastic educational experiences. The undergraduate program really prepared me for my career as well as prepared me for furthering my education with a post-graduate degree and working toward a PhD.
