The university fulfills the society’s demands through offering different degrees and programmes such as Associate Technical Diploma, Associate Diploma, Bachelor degree, High Diploma, Master and PhD. The university’s primary primarily is the appreciation of human dignity and abilities . According to this philosophy, a student’s future does not stop at a certain academic level but continues to achieving higher degrees, an act that shapes students’ desired and promising future and provides them with the opportunity to assert themselves in their society.
Research
The Deanship of Scientific Research was established in December 1995, in order to encourage and organize scientific research at the University of Bahrain, in addition to carry out studies and research for the benefit of both private and public sectors, either in Bahrain or in the Gulf states.

A high priority of the university is to recruit and retain highly qualified personnel, in order to create an exceptional employment experience, and to provide the best possible staff to educate our students.

Karachi psychology focus
3 years into the degree it's been a great learning experience here, extra curricular options are limited but the campus is best for psychology students as it is one of the very few good options in Karachi. The teachers are supportive and understanding and qualified.
Bahria University: Pros and Cons
What I Dislike: Limited Research Opportunities: Undergraduate research exposure is still developing; compared to top universities (like NUST, FAST), it's not very research-intensive. Course Updates: Some courses (especially software engineering, web development, etc.) could update content faster to match latest industry technologies. Internship/Placement Help: While there are job fairs, the university�s direct internship placement support could be stronger. Heavy Theory Focus: In some courses, there is too much theoretical focus and not enough hands-on practice (especially for newer fields like Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity) What I Like: Environment: The university provides a safe, disciplined, and professional environment for studies. Facilities: Bahria�s Islamabad and Karachi campuses have well-maintained labs, libraries, and computer resources for students. Support for Projects: Final Year Projects (FYPs) are well-organized, and some students even publish papers or build impressive applications. Focus on Discipline: Bahria is strict about rules, attendance, and ethics � which builds professional habits. In the end i would say that there are better options than Bahria for CS

Hands‑On Learning Gap
The university offered a mix of dedicated teachers and others who seemed to treat teaching more as just a job. There should be more focus on sports and extracurricular activities to create a more balanced student experience. Overall, my time at the university was satisfactory.

In terms of the university's keenness to provide comfort to all of its employees, the university have undertook to compensate a large portion of the fees that the employee had paid it for the health treatment at the hospitals, after presenting the medical report and the hospital bills.
