The UCL Faculty of Social & Historical Sciences represents an area of knowledge where humanities and science meet. The interests and methods of the nine component departments offer excellent opportunities for innovative and collaborative research.
Each of the departments has major research strengths in its own discipline. Some 200 academic staff contribute to the teaching activities across the faculty and their research activities are complemented by those of almost 100 research staff. The departments also play a major role in UCL’s growing network of interdisciplinary research centres. The Global Student Satisfaction Awards empower students across the globe to determine the best universities of 2021.
