Very welcoming university
Great university for International students, amazing communities and society clubs that welcome newcomers to Hong Kong, close relationships between school staff members and students. Unlike other universities, students tend to mingle with students from all backgrounds rather than staying within their own background circle. The school's location is easily accessible through minibuses and public transport with nearby malls and catering options. The school truly wants the students to perform well while balancing extra curricular activities.
MBChB has been demanding yet rewarding.
Experience gained: Through studying Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, I gained strong foundations in medical sciences, clinical skills, patient communication, teamwork, ethical practice, and critical thinking in real healthcare settings. Areas for improvement: I can improve my time management, research skills, confidence in clinical decision-making, stress management, and continuous practice of hands-on clinical procedures and evidence-based medicine.
Disorganised HR teaching
Overall the quality of teaching staff is not satisfactory. Their teaching is not well organised or well prepared. Some of the teachers are not enthusiastic at teaching. The administrative staff are not helpful, always give inaccurate information that misleads students. The program design is not bad, which is comprehensive and covers a wide area of HR functions.
