Boston College was founded in 1863 by the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) to educate Boston’s predominantly Irish, Catholic immigrant community. It opened its doors on September 5, 1864, in a building on Harrison Avenue in Boston’s South End, a “small streetcar college” for commuting students.
Boston College builds upon its traditions. It seeks to be the national leader in the liberal arts; to fulfill its Jesuit, Catholic mission of faith and service; to continue to develop model programs to support students in their formation; and to seek solutions—as researchers, educators, leaders, and caregivers—that directly address the world’s most urgent problems.

BC is a terrific school. The campus is absolutely beautiful. The school has a very collaborative feel to it which makes it a great environment to study it. People are often quite outgoing and easy to talk to. The campus rec center for students is pretty much brand new and a great spot to work out. Being a private school of around 10,000 but also having high level D1 sports is also something quite unique that not too many other schools have. Lastly, the proximity to Boston is great for exploring, trying new things and having a fun weekend out.
I'm a student at Boston City Campus, and I gotta say, it's been a great experience so far! I love the flexible learning options, especially the online and distance learning, which is perfect for students like me who need to balance school with other responsibilities. The lecturers are knowledgeable and supportive, and the campus vibe is chill. I also appreciate the range of programs they offer, from business to health sciences. One thing I'd change is the admin process � sometimes it can be a bit slow. But overall, I'd definitely recommend Boston City Campus to anyone looking for a flexible and affordable education. The campus has a good reputation, and the qualifications are recognized. If you're considering Boston City Campus, go for it! Just be prepared to put in the work and take advantage of the resources they offer.
My opinion about the university college is that it is a learning center for professionals. I like the environment and the buildings outlook. I dislike it also because it is suited within the city , so a lot of noise. I would recommend it to others.

Not feeling well? University Health Services is here to help you by diagnosing and treating physical, emotional, or transitional issues you may be having.
