About

History

Tecnológico de Monterrey is a private, nonprofit, independent institution founded in 1943 thanks to the vision of Eugenio Garza Sada and a group of entrepreneurs who formed an association called Enseñanza e Investigación Superior, A. C.

Education

At Tecnológico de Monterrey we continuously update our academic offer so that it is able to respond to social, economic, work-related, scientific and technological changes.

Research

At Tecnológico de Monterrey we combine two research approaches with open international collaboration: “knowledge driven creation” and “society driven innovation”. Our researchers have a responsibility towards value creation based on our scientific research that addresses society's demands. But they also have to advance scientific knowledge to create new concepts, theories, and paradigms to advance the understanding of the world and the universe.

We are committed to undertaking research to educate, innovate and transform in order to transcend in this lifetime.

Student Life

Campus life

The institution has 31 campuses, as well as 21 headquarters and offices of international liaison located around Mexico. The Monterrey Campus is the first and largest of them, and its facilities have been designed to create the perfect environment for motivating our students, creating a balance between studying, and recreation.

Sports facilities

You will develop values such as discipline, commitment, competitiveness, a passion for sports and the capacity for teamwork by joining in our sports classes in a wide variety of areas or participating in our varsity teams, which offer the opportunity to compete on a national level.

Student clubs

Our student population comes from other states in Mexico, Central and South America. You can join more than 1,100 student groups and take advantage of a rich variety of cultural experiences.

Accreditation

The Tecnológico de Monterrey and the programs offered at its various campuses have national and international accreditation.

Tecnológico de Monterrey has accreditations with associations such as: SACS, CIEES, SEP, and CONACYT.

In general I really enjoyed studying at the Tec de Monterrey (Campus Puebla). I have always loved creating and designing things that come to my mind, that's why I choose to study Mechatronics. One of the best things from my University was the exigency that they demanded from us, making me a very hard worker with a can-do actitude against the problems. The teachers always taught us to think outs...

Mejorar el tipo de profesores, las materias y metodología. El campus tiene algunas restricciones me gustaría que combinara sistema que manejan con la opinión del alumno. Tiene pocas instalaciones (cafeterías, gimnasio y áreas recreativas)
