In addition to the Master of Arts in Sustainability (MAS) and a certificate program, Wake Forest offers two unique dual degree programs – the JD/MA in Sustainability and the Masters of Divinity/MA in Sustainability. In July 2017, Stan Meiburg, Former Deputy Administrator of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) was appointed as the new director of the Sustainability Graduate Programs.
The Sustainability degree at Wake Forest University is a distinctive, interdisciplinary one-year program that combines the social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, management and law. Courses taught include guest lecturers and off-site facility visits. As a result, students have unparalleled opportunities to engage with professionals beyond the Wake Forest campus.
