Centered in the heart of energy-rich Oklahoma, Energy Business (Online) from University of Tulsa provides an extraordinary educational experience that blends MBA-level knowledge and skills with contemporary energy issues and perspectives. Delivered online, the curriculum features a practical and applied approach that equips students with what they need to know to run and manage an energy company.

Key Facts

MEB courses are delivered in an online instructional environment enriched by contemporary media and communication technologies. Students interact among themselves and instructors much like a traditional class, but without the physical classroom setting. Full lectures and course materials are available on demand, with completion of many of the same kinds of assignments being required as in conventional graduate courses. Courses are created so students can work through weekly units on their own time, in an asynchronous environment, but still interact with their peers and instructors. Students also participate in two 2-day residency seminars with their cohort either on campus at the University of Tulsa or other venues such as energy hubs around the globe.

Courses are taught by faculty, many of whom have direct energy company experience, along with industry practitioners and other experts. Academic units across the University are represented, including the Collins College of Business, the College of Engineering and Computer Sciences, the Oxley College of Health and Natural Sciences, and the College of Law.
