With a comprehensive course format, a distinguished resident faculty, and a variety of academic concentrations, the Business Administration program of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte offers a top-quality graduate education in one of the most dynamic business climates in the United States.

Over 50 years ago, UNC Charlotte launched the first graduate program in the region for working business professionals. Today, Belk College’s nationally ranked part-time MBA has more than 4,200 alumni. The Belk College’s oldest and largest graduate program, the MBA has continued to grow to serve the Charlotte region and beyond.

Flexibility

The Professional MBA program is designed to meet your individual needs. We offer the flexibility to complete your degree full-time in as little as three semesters. On average, full-time MBA students complete the program in two years and part-time students in three years. Evening courses are conveniently offered at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City located in Uptown Charlotte. Classes are held year-round, during two 15-week semesters (fall and spring) and two 5-week summer sessions.

Required core courses are offered in a hybrid format. For students with robust travel schedules and busy lives, this option allows you to attend core classes face-to-face every other week, with online learning taking place the alternating week.

A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university

A satisfactory GPA on all previous work beyond high school

Three academic or professional recommendations

A statement of purpose describing the applicant’s experience and objectives in undertaking graduate study

Unofficial transcripts of all academic work attempted beyond high (secondary) school can be used for admission review. An official (officially certified) final transcript must be submitted if an applicant is offered admission. International transcripts provided in a language other than English should be uploaded, but a translated version should be uploaded as well
