The curriculum of the Health Informatics program of Rutgers University provides ample knowledge and practice of the use of state of the art analytical techniques and industrial strength software for graduates to analyze, evaluate and implement the next generation of health informatics systems and services. Graduates from this program would be ideally suited for position titles such as “Clinical Data Analyst”, “Clinical Data Specialist” and the like all with excellent career growth and personal/salary advancement potential. General requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in the U.S., or its equivalent, with a major in any field of health sciences, computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field of study
- A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Completed application form, with application fee
- Three letters of recommendation
- Official transcripts of previous collegiate work or last-earned degrees. International students must provide WES evaluation of their foreign degrees
- Personal statement describing interest and commitment to the program
- CV or resume
- International students not having a qualifying degree from the United States are required to provide evidence of English language proficiency by submitting a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination scores
