General requirements

This program requires a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, although exceptions may be made after consultation with Admissions. Other requirements included a current registered nursing license and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an NLNAC or CCNE-accredited program. The Nurse Educator Certificate program requires an MSN to apply as the program is a Post Master's Certificate.

An official and complete transcript sent directly from the Registrar of each college and/or School of Nursing for coursework on the undergraduate and graduate level.

A copy of your current registered nursing license.

Three (3) written recommendations from nursing professionals, such as recent employers, professors, etc. At least one (1) recommendation must be from a Master’s level or above professional Nurse who has observed and is able to speak to the applicant’s clinical performance.
