Chatham’s MFSST program partners with CATIE, a leading institution in Latin America and the Caribbean. With over 75 years in sustainable agriculture and rural development, CATIE enhances our program by providing innovative research, hands-on learning, and an international network focused on green development and global sustainability solutions.

CATIE’s approach to sustainable tourism considers present tourist markets and capacity while preserving resources for future generations. Centered on environmental, economic, and socio-cultural benefits and concerns, the program combines industry expertise, practical experience, and comprehensive research to evaluate sustainable tourism and its operational and policy frameworks.

The Masters of Arts in Food Studies (MAFS) emphasizes a holistic approach to food systems, from agriculture and food production to cuisines and consumption, providing practical experience from field to table.
