Work directly with fashion collections. You'll study York’s extensive fashion study collection. Sessions held in our purpose-built store will give you hands-on experience of handling and analysing fashion objects. Yorkshire is exceptionally rich in museum fashion collections. You'll work directly with partners such as The Bankfield Museum, Leeds Museums and Galleries, York Museums Trust and Harrogate Museums and Galleries.
Explore an exciting range of option modules. We're unique in offering the study of fashion history in an art history environment. You can tailor your degree to match your own academic and professional interests. We offer both fashion-specific and more general option modules, allowing you to gain a comprehensive understanding how fashion fits into art historical discourse.
