Overview
The Medical Research program offered by Drexel University is designed to provide talented students with both medical knowledge and research competencies. During the first year, students take course work equivalent to a first-year medical school curriculum. In the second year, students continue graduate coursework while pursuing mentored research in a discipline of their choice. Students in the program develop strong, well-rounded academic and research portfolios and become competitive candidates for seats in medical school or as they continue their graduate medical education.

- Transcripts: Provide official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. International transcripts have to be evaluated by a member of NACES.
- Standardized Test Scores: Official test scores from graduate and professional admission exams such as the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) are required. Successful applicants typically have an overall score of 500 or better on the MCAT, or a GRE score of 152 or above in verbal, 153 or above in quantitative, and 4.0 in writing.
- TOEFL scores are required for international applicants or applicants who earned a degree outside the U.S. (minimum scores: 100/600/250). Scores will be reviewed based on section scores and total scores.
