You will receive a separate score for each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and for Use of English. Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: 2.5

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

  • Students with an undergraduate grade point average of 2.0 to 2.49 may be accepted to National University on probation (instead of taking the above tests). Students who receive a grade below "B" during their first 4.5 quarter units while on probation are disqualified and must apply to the Committee on the Application of Standards to be considered for reinstatement
  • Preliminary documentation of prior education must be presented at required interview with an admissions advisor. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable
  • Complete an application for admission and enrollment agreement.
  • Remit a non-refundable application fee of $60
  • Individual degree programs may have additional admission requirements
