Overview

This Business Administration and Public Health program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston allows students to complete both degrees more efficiently and with fewer total credit hours than if each degree were pursued separately.

Students pursuing a dual degree are entered into the Customized MPH plan at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health.

When possible, the student's coursework at the two institutions is coordinated to provide a curriculum that integrates medical science and practice with public health sciences.

Dual degree students must complete all partner program degree requirements and apply for graduation from the partner institution to be eligible for MPH degree conferral. In most cases, degree conferral for both programs must occur in the same semester. Students will be required to provide proof that a graduation application has been submitted to the partner institution during the MPH graduation application process. Please contact your campus or program coordinator if you need more information on enrollment requirements and degree conferral.
