The Climate Solutions - Business Administration programme from University of California, Berkeley offers a concurrent degree (a.k.a. “joint degree” or “dual degree”) that gives you the opportunity to enroll in both the Master of Climate Solutions programme from the Rausser College of Natural Resources, and one of the top MBA programmes in the world through the Haas School of Business (Haas).

Deeper dive into sustainability than the standard MBA

Standard MBA programmes provide only a handful of courses focused on climate and sustainability.

In MBA/MCS, you learn not only broad business skills and knowledge, but also the fundamentals of climate change and sustainability to develop comprehensive strategies to meet an organization’s sustainability goals.

More immersive experience

Students earning both degrees have the opportunity for two summers that can be used for internships, as well as immersive project-based courses in both degree programmes.

The MBA/MCS enables students to spend five semesters at Berkeley, with enough time to develop networks across both programmes as well as the campus, and to get to know our world-class faculty.
