A major advantage of the concentration is that students will be well-grounded in public management and policy for the many positions in the nonprofit sector that depend on government funding, support, and collaboration. Students will also have the flexibility to select additional courses from among MPA and other graduate program offerings.UNC Greensboro’s MPA program is the only MPA program in the North Carolina Piedmont Triad accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). We provide a stimulating and challenging education enabling a diverse student body to develop public values and master essential knowledge and skills within a supportive community.

Completion of a bachelor’s degree and a graduate degree (if required by the program) from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association or completion of a bachelor’s and a graduate degree (if required by the program) that is equivalent to a U.S. degree from an international college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.
