General requirements

The degree program has a minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75(/4.00). The undergraduate degree should be in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field. If the GPA is deficient, or the undergraduate degree is an alternate discipline, conditional requirements will be enacted.
For applicants who do not meet the 2.75 GPA requirement, the following will be required:
Statement of Purpose - statement articulating why the prospective student wants to pursue an advanced degree in our program.
Names of two (2) references - references will be contacted regarding the potential graduate student’s ability to successfully complete the degree.
GRE - A GRE score is recommended.
