General requirements

The statement of purpose must be submitted electronically with the online application.
College transcripts in English and the original language from all accredited degree-granting institutions attended are required. Admitted students must provide official transcripts with an indication that the bachelor’s degree has been awarded before they matriculate.
All required credentials should be provided electronically through the application. Paper documents mailed to our office will be discarded.
Applicants who are admitted and enroll at WPI will be required to submit final and official transcripts from any university that issued a degree or where classes were taken that counted towards the degree. We will accept mailed final and official transcripts.
