The MPS in Technology, Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation combines online experiences with award-winning faculty, self-paced coursework and connections with the University of Maryland entrepreneurial community to link entrepreneurs from around the world.

Identify and analyze your entrepreneurial ideas for a startup company or corporate venture by developing your entrepreneurial thinking, exploring competitive analysis and industry analysis, and understanding the keys to value innovation.
Create an innovative business model to effectively design value propositions, assemble and lead a well-comprised team, pursue big ideas that really matter to customers, and craft a financial model that minimizes risks while maximizing your success.
Translate your product ideas into tangible assets by creating wireframes, 3D renderings, prototypes, and minimum viable products (MVPs) to test assumptions and validate customer interests.
Explore the marketing of innovations by learning tactics to gather marketing research and customer intelligence, understanding the need for adopting a customer-orientation, and applying marketing strategies to dynamic environments.
Learn to navigate the legal challenges facing new venture leaders, and act decisively on the legal opportunities and challenges encountered when creating and launching a new venture.
Build financing strategies with an understanding of financial statements, capital structures, cost of capital, sources of entrepreneurial capital including angel investors and venture capitalists, and securing internal corporate funding.
