What you will learn

The Kinesiology - Human Performance track provides an in-depth study of applied human physiology and how it relates to non-clinical settings (i.e. apparently healthy individuals and/or individuals with controlled disease).

General requirements

Successful completion (with a grade of C or higher) the equivalent of 8 semester hours of anatomy and physiology, with labs. One of two options must be met: Option 1: Human Anatomy with lab and Human Physiology with lab; Option 2: Anatomy/Physiology combined with labs.
Personal statement.
Thesis option: include specific areas of research interest and describe any previous research experience; also identify at least one faculty member who shares a similar research focus with whom they would like to work if admitted.
Two letters of recommendation from previous faculty or supervisors.
Résumé for curriculum vitae (CV).
Video Essay recorded within the online application system
Applicants who have attended a college/university outside the United States must provide a course-by-course credential evaluation with GPA calculation.
Faculty members may choose to conduct face-to-face or telephone interviews before accepting an applicant.
