General requirements
- Earned a baccalaureate or graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) with one of the following:
- Baccalaureate degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale; or
- Both a baccalaureate degree with a GPA of at least 2.50 on a 4.0 point scale, and five (5) years of professional experience; or
- Both a baccalaureate degree and proof of passing Indiana’s approved content area examination(s) in the subject area that the individual attends to teach.
- A criminal history background check that meets School of Integrated Learning and Development guidelines.
- Submit a signed FERPA Release Form.
