MSEE graduates will:Be current in their knowledge of selected fields of Electrical and Computer Engineering.Design and develop solutions to Electrical and Computer Engineering problems.Demonstrate professional-level technical and communication skills in the electrical and computer engineering areas.

General requirements

Applicants for unconditional admission are generally expected to have a core upper-division GPA of 3.0 or higher BSEE or BSCPE degree from an ABET accredited (Find ABET Accredited Programs) engineering program and must also satisfy all other university graduate admission requirements in the graduate studies section of the university catalog. The BS degree must have been awarded no more than seven years prior to application.
Applicants with a core upper-division GPA of 2.7 or more, undergraduate degrees from programs that are not ABET accredited, undergraduate degrees in related disciplines, or degrees awarded more than seven years prior to application will be considered for conditional admission. Conditions may include, but are not limited to, minimum academic performance and/or additional coursework.
