Overview
Bellarmine University's Nursing Administration track is designed for practicing nurses who are currently serving in an advanced administrative role or for those who aspire to obtain a position in nursing administration.
Key Features
- The program is fully online and is ideal for students with professional or personal obligations during the typical work week. New students will participate in a mandatory technology orientation that may be completed in-person or by recorded video. Most courses will also offer once per-semester optional class meetings which will be available by recorded video as well.
- Most students complete two courses per semester and finish the program in two years.
- Selected clinical, administrative, and evidence-based practice experiences provide the student with the opportunity to function as a nurse administrator. Practica must be completed in nursing administration.

- BSN from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program.
- Goal statement: The goal statement is your opportunity to tell us (as specifically as you can at this time) about your career plans after you finish your master’s degree.
- Two professional references. The strongest recommendations are from managers, directors, professors or others in a supervisory capacity.
- Resume describing relevant work, professional, and volunteer experiences.
- Proof of active, unrestricted license to practice nursing in Kentucky and/or compact state.
- Final official transcript(s) from each college or university attended should be mailed to the Office of Graduate Admission and should not be marked “Issued to Student.”
- If any transcript(s) or undergraduate degree(s) is from an international institution, you must provide an official copy of a third-party course by course credential evaluation Bellarmine University.
