The Nursing Leadership in Health Care Systems Master is offered by San Diego State University. We provide innovative community engagement opportunities with regional hospitals, clinics, schools, and healthcare agencies to advance student learning and workforce development to strengthen our collaborative networks and address current and emerging healthcare needs.

It is typically difficult to transfer between programs, but it is possible with limitations. Each course transfer request will be evaluated in terms of equivalency with the required courses in our program. The first consideration is whether you qualify for admission to our program. Before you take any other steps, you should examine our admission criteria and only proceed if you believe that you would qualify. Qualified students who meet individual course prerequisites and standards for regular enrollment in the University may qualify to take some classes through Open University before being formally admitted to the University. Open University allows students to enroll in courses on a space available basis with the approval of the course instructor and the department chair. Not more than 12 units of combined coursework in Open University and special sessions completed prior to admission to an advanced degree program will be acceptable on a program of study. If you missed the application deadline, please contact the Graduate Advisor.
