Overview
Key Features
As a student, you’ll learn to apply psychological principles that can prevent illness, improve personal health outcomes, and impact healthcare systems.
Through Health Psychology program at National University, you’ll focus on the psychological study of health and illness, along with recovery, from the perspective that these arise due to a combination of physical, behavioral, and social conditions. You’ll also take electives focused on topics such as substance abuse, adult psychopathology, trauma, and wellness.
Our MS in Health Psychology online program prepares you for careers in education, the health and wellness industry, and other helping professions. An optional internship at the end of the program gives you the opportunity to apply your classroom studies to real-world situations.
