Overview

The Master of Arts in Education with Designing and Implementing K-12 E-Learning Graduate Certificate program participants will develop the expertise needed to design, plan, and implement e-Learning for K-12 students. Complete the 15 core MAE hours at Lindenwood University. Then add 18 e-Learning credits to earn a transcripted certificate in Designing and Implementing K-12 e-Learning. All eight-week certificate courses are project based and participants can begin any semester.

Involvement in teacher education at Lindenwood also presents the opportunity for networking and professional development through the university’s Tau Phi chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education, our award-winning Collegiate DECA chapter, and Council for Exceptional Children.

Career

Our program integrates research-based best practices, one of which is co-teaching. Our teacher candidates work with PK-12 students in schools but also in summer camps and after school tutoring. In a survey administered by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, over 82% of Lindenwood alumni in public school teaching jobs reported they were well prepared or very well prepared in their first year.

Students seeking a Master of Arts in Education (MAE) must meet the following entry requirements:

Hold a Baccalaureate Degree.
Complete Admission to Lindenwood University’s Graduate Program.

Upload your transcripts and translations, along with proof of graduation through your application status page.

Lindenwood requires ONE of the following tests for graduate admission consideration:

TOEFL – Minimum Score 81
IELTS – Minimum Score 6.5
Duolingo – Minimum Score 105
