The Media Industries and Critical-Cultural Studies area at University of North Texas is led by a small dynamic faculty who work closely with graduate students as they develop their degree plans, theses, or exams. Students learn about multiple aspects of media industries including: production cultures, management, distribution, global media, entrepreneurship, franchises and remakes, law and regulation, programming, transmedia storytelling, media economics, and audience research.

UNT requires official school transcripts, diploma and degree certificates from all universities attended. After we process your application from ApplyTexas, you will receive an email with access to the MyUNT portal to upload scans of your official documents to be used for evaluation.

These MUST be in both English and your native language, if applicable. English translations must be from either the academic institution or a certified translator.
